The jail from Ramnicu-Sarat, Romania was one of the most grim facilities of this kind during the time of the Comunist regime. It was known as the "silent prison" because the prisoners were not allowed to talk during their detention. Also they suffered great atrocities from the guards and were not given basically any food at all.
The project intents to give visitors a chance to commemorate the sufferings these people went through, while visiting the Ramnicu-Sarat museum.
